The SAPIR Group is the most important
business organization in the Port of Ravenna.

The Group’s Structure

The mother company SAPIR manages the main terminal operator in the port of Ravenna at the Darsena di San Vitale dock, also one of the largest in Italy. It also controls Terminal Nord SpA on the left bank of the canal, specializing in inert items, and owns 70% of shares in TCR (Terminal Container Ravenna , a company 30% owned by Contship Italia of the Eurokai Group of Hamburg), the port's Container Terminal, a strategic gateway for trade of containerized cargo with Eastern Mediterranean countries.

The SAPIR Group’s terminals can handle large quantities of the most varied types of goods. A record that was achieved also thanks to recent investments in the purchase of new high-performing cranes, the construction of new yards and warehouse facilities, and a parallel process of digital transformation of all services.

The Group's terminals represent one of the largest port areas in Italy today.
